All files and folders saved to your “Z” Drive will be backed up on our server and be accessible from your profile from any PC on our network. In other words, if you login to any PC with your username (first initial and last name) the documents in your Z Drive will be identical and synced. The Z drive is mapped to your “Documents” folder so they are one and the same from any PC.
Any other settings are not backed up by IT. Any files that you place on the Desktop will NOT be restored should your computer crash or need servicing by IT.
Also be aware that due to limited storage on our servers we purge files that haven’t been opened in 18 months over the off season. Be sure that you have the files you use on a regular basis up to date and stored in the Z Drive
