JCH Phone Programming Instructions 


  • New Corded VTech Phones 

  • Speed Dial keys: 

  • To program a Speed Dial key:  

  • 1. Remove the faceplate and overlay if they are on the telephone base. Press SPEAKER on the telephone base or lift the handset. Then press the recessed PROGRAM key. The MUTE key flashes when in administrator mode. 

  • 2. Press the desired Speed Dial key where the telephone number is to be stored. You hear 3 beeps. 

  • 3. Enter the telephone number 

  • 4. Press the recessed PROGRAM key again. You hear 3 rising beeps as confirmation.

  • To clear the programmed Speed Dial key: 

  • 1. Remove the faceplate and overlay if they are on the telephone base. Press /SPEAKER on the telephone base or lift the handset. Then press the recessed PROGRAM key. The MUTE key flashes when in administrator mode. 

  • 2. Press the Speed Dial key where the telephone number is to be deleted. You hear 3 beeps. Press the recessed PROGRAM key again. You hear 3 rising beeps as confirmation. 

 

  • Legacy Corded Teledex Phones 

  • Remove faceplate  

  • Press speaker or remove handset to open the phone line 

  • Press the button in the upper right-hand corner of the phone underneath the faceplate

  • Enter the desired speed call code (see below) 

  • Press designated speed call button on the dial pad (front desk, emergency, wake up, etc.) 

  • Close the phone line 

  • Repeat above steps for the remaining extensions 

  • Place phone faceplate back when finished. 

The following speed call codes should be programmed to the speed dial buttons shown below:  

*5101 – Messages 

*5102 – Wake Up Call 

*5103 – Front Desk 

*5104 – Future Reservations 

*5105 – Emergency
