Connect the console port of the HDMI encoder to the network card of your computer via ethernet.

The default IP of the encoder is 172.16.70.1

On your computer, navigate to the “Network and Sharing Center”. Once open, click on “Change Adapter Settings” on left hand side of the window. Right-click on the local area network, and then click on “Properties”. A “Properties” dialog box will appear. In this box, double-click on the “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/

IPv4)”. A dialog box entitled ”Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties” will appear. Select the “Use the following IP address” option and enter the following addresses:

  •  IP address: 172.16.70.2
  • Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
  • No need to enter a value for the Default Gateway.

Click OK to close the dialog box. Your computer is now ready to communicate with the encoder.

In your desired browser input the following ip to the url box: 172.16.70.1

Default Username: Admin

Default Password: pass

Navigate to the settings panel to configure the IP settings. Subject to change but so far every encoder's ip ends with 142. For example the palm beach encoder has an IP of 10.0.170.142, which follows the IP scheme of Palm Beach in the first three octets, followed by the 142 in the final octet. Match this scheme for the unit IP address. Subnet mask will be 255.255.255.0, and default gateway will be the default gateway for that property.

EC1 and EC2 can be set to DHCP, as these will be the video streams.

These are all the settings that need to be adjusted for setting up console managment for the Encoders.
