Change VM Greeting Externally/Remotely
- Dial your full external number (ie. 508-638-xxxx, 508-325-xxxx)
- Wait for the phone to ring and eventually go to voicemail
- Once the voicemail greeting starts, press *
- When the automated attendant, starts speaking press * again
- Enter your extension number when prompted (“Please enter your mailbox number”)
- The automated attendant should say “Welcome” followed by your name and prompt you for your passcode
- Once you have logged into your mailbox, press 8 for user options
- Press G or number equivalent (4) to change greeting record new greeting
- Once prompted with a tone to record your new message, finish recording with “#”
- Press 9 to exit and save changes
