Often times, the 'your request was declined' screen when trying to access sharepoint is not due to your account not having sharepoint permissions.
Usually your browser cache is stale and in a state where it can't reauthenticate to SharePoint.
To fix this, simply clear your browser cache, or close and reopen your browser.
