The cash drawer has two connections to the POS Terminal.

1.  The Physical Connection.  The cash drawer is physically connected to POS Terminal via a black cable.

2.  The log on/off connection.  The cash drawer is connected to the user logged onto the POS Terminal.

There are 2 main reasons why the cash drawer will not open.

1.  The Cash drawer is not connected to POS Terminal.  Double check that the black cable is connected to the terminal.

      Then go to Function > Reinit CashDrw (Circled in Yellow Below)

2.  The Cash Drawer has not been logged on or the cash drawer has locked itself.

If the bartender/server does not log themself out at the end of the night, the cash drawer will lock itself requiring a manager override to open.  (This will throw off the reporting numbers as well)

The manager to can to Function > Log On Drawer or Log Off Drawer.  The manager can log off the server, log in with the managers credentials to open the cash drawer.
