The Credit Card readers (aka Pin Pads) are connected to the POS Terminal via internet connection.

There could be several reasons why the credit card readers are not working.  While IT is starting to work on your ticket, please try these steps first.


1.  Make sure the POS Terminal has internet.  Denoted by the green block in the upper left hand corner of the Terminal.

           Green = Internet is Good, Yellow = Terminal is attempting to connect, Red = No Internet connection.


2.  Make sure the credit card reader cables are connected.

3.  Go to Function > Reinit Sigcap/P2PE.
